Candidates who have successfully completed a Level 2 General beauty therapy course with a satisfactory reference and skills assessment.
Learning Style:
A mixture of practical, written assignments and modular test observed and study methods. Students will need to submit portfolio demonstrating practical evidence and essential knowledge via assignments and tests.
You may be expected to provide models for your practical assessments.
Assessment:
You will be expected to provide models for your practical assessments that will be expected to contribute to the cost of consumables; however you will also be expected to work on external client to develop a real working experience.
Progression:
You may want to progress by adding to your industry skills by attending part-time courses in stone therapy, reflexology or progress onto the level 4 higher professional diploma in technical salon management. Or you may choose to work in beauty salons, cruise ships, health clubs, spas or begin your own business venture.
