Course: L.2 Certificate in Nail Treatments - Description:

This course combines M8 Provide manicure treatment & M9 Provide pedicure treatments plus M2 & M74 Health & Safety and employment standards. This will give students a full Manicure and Pedicure certificate to an international VTCT standard.

Course content:

  • Follow Health and safety practice in the salon
  • Client care and communication in beauty related industries
  • Provide Manicure treatments.  Painting to include French manicure, hand and foot massage, salt scrubs, paraffin wax, hot oil, mitts and booties.
  • Provide pedicure treatments
  • Provide nail art
  • Working with others in the hair and Beauty sector

Students will be required to put together a portfolio of evidence, assignment, case studies and be assessed on paying clients.

Time and Date: 10:00-16:00 27th February, 5th March(Manicures only) for full certificate please add 2 more days for pedicures, plus assessment day

Course: Gel Nail Extensions plus nail art (kit not included)

Description:

Learn how to apply Gel tips and nail art using NSI products:

  • All aspects of health & safety, contra-indications/actions
  • Consultation techniques
  • How to apply natural tips and white tips
  • How to apply nail art

Pre-requisite: Students must hold a recognised manicure certificate.

Students can study modules working towards a full VTCT Level 3 Diploma

The course will show you how to obtain the very best from your NSI products, troubleshoot common problems and offer help and advice. It is designed for the technician who wished to advanced and refine their skills.
